Lost Your Everything

Cutting you out of my life wasn't an easy decision,
blocking every way of contacting me was a struggle,
saying goodbye to the person I love hurts me,
knowing that you really don't care cuts even deeper.

Not that long ago you said I was your everything,
together forever sounded like an amazing thing,
without you the sun didn't look so bright,
losing that fluorescent glow you brought to my heart,
everything went downhill in a blink of an eye.

Did you ever think why this hurts me so much?
Can you even possibly grasp how much I want to be with you?
Was letting me walk out of your life that worthless to you?
I never expected this from someone I thought was so different.

Going our separate ways is the best thing now,
maybe one day you will see what you just did,
hopefully it kills your heart not knowing if I'm okay,
when that lightbulb goes off in your head making
you go " What did I just do? ",
you will finally see you just lost your everything.
