Arrogant Heartbreaker

You have left a trail of broken hearts in your wake,
crunching on them under your feet so arrogantly,
if you knew how I felt about you in the slightest,
would you have still left the pieces on the ground?

Stepping further away as you're crushing me,
with just a few taps of your shoe on the sidewalk,
once again I'm wondering what'd you do if you knew,
of all the nights I've spent crying over my feelings for you.

You're singing lyrical sounds of destruction to my heart,
with just one lyrical line, you bring down my very soul,
so if in the chill of the night air, you find my heart,
know that it feels something for you no matter what.

    As awful as it feels to say this, I really relate to this poem though I have to admit that I do not have the strength to say it that way just yet. This is another great written poem by you, the emotions are so heartbreaking and captivating.
