Untitled [Not Finished]

by xoxShorteexox   Dec 11, 2011

I'm sitting right where you left me waiting
for the moment you return to your place
by my side on this snow covered bench
in this park that seems to be nearly empty.

Staring down at the impression of your body
left behind in the snow next to me untouched
by the cool winter breeze ruffling the branches
of the trees that sway gracefully to its melody.

Listening to the howling of the dogs nearby
as we seem to be interested in the moon
with the same reaction to the serenity
of the nighttime with a wondering eye.

I'm hoping for some opinions on what I have written so far... I got this far... then I seemed to lose the muse...

I hope the muse will get back to you because I want this continue, this is so beautifully written that is gave me chills. I really like the atmosphere and if you hadn't mentioned that you can still see the persons impression that's left behind in the snow I would have guessed that the protagonist has been sitting there for quite a while that it already started snowing. I wonder how this will go on, but I can tell now already that it's beautiful.
