Living That Single Life

Living that single life,
every guy coming my way
is just another dog with a different name,
saying you matter so much one minute,
not caring the next, but whats new?

Never expecting any less,
every guy is another failure,
working my butt off to make it work,
what for? a disappointment in the end?
to find out you never should have tried
in the first place.

Them coming back saying I'm sorry,
I will change, I promise,I don't wanna lose you,
lies, lies, lies are all I'm hearing,
not giving you a chance until you prove
you're worthy, until I know you aren't gonna hurt me.

Living that single life,
saying no to commitment,
doing my own thing, focusing on me,
done with getting hurt, sick of same old same old,
every guy I find is the same,
so hands up saying
"Ima do me & you can do you."
