Eyes Of Mine Deceive Me

by believeinlove87   Dec 16, 2011

Do these eyes of mine deceive me?
Am I imagining a mirage in front of my existence?
Has my one true love walked back in my life?
Shaking her head, she laughs saying this is only
a pigment of my past life playing tricks.

Falling against the wall, every memory replaying
like shes reliving it over and over,
pressure on her shoulders as she tries to block it out,
saying this can't be, this isn't really happening,
swirling down onto the floor this is all to much to handle.

Upon opening her eyes, hes kneeling in front of her face,
carefully lifting up her chin, " This isn't your imagination
beautiful girl; I'm really here for you,"
trembling on her two feet, trying to catch her breath,
believing this is some imaginary illusion in her mind.

Do these eyes of mine deceive me?
Can he truly be here, back for good? Too good to be true,
suddenly waking up from a dream, rubbing her eyes,
laughing at herself, that felt so real she thinks,
to her surprise, he lays right next to her saying
" Baby this isn't no mirage, You just bumped your head."
