Bitter Sweet

by Innocent Fairy   Dec 18, 2011

Bitter sweet
is angers fleet
and angles can see
the light dimming

The heart broken,
it fights-

It fights to stand
fights for hope
fights for love
and the light it holds within

The heart still believes
but is broken,
weak

Anger and darkness
take over
filling her soul
with weeping willows

The wolfs cry,
a luminous moon,
they sense thee battle near

Bitter sweet
the sirens call
for men to fall

She is lost
in the storm,
the mind is gone
she's lost everything

Rain falls
following...
the weeping willows

Bitter sweet
is angers fleet,
angles try to intervene

A battle
in her soul.
Can she be found?

I have to agree with Karla. It's very creative and I like the word play also.

Metaphorically angles and angels have a lot to do with how we perceive any given reality in the metaphysical realm of the balance or imbalance of heart, soul, and mind reflected in this well written poem.
