In Her Diary

by believeinlove87   Dec 28, 2011

Writing in her diary, spilling out her entire heart,
every drop of ink lets out her hidden pain,
tears filling up both eyes, her vision going blurry,
taking a deep breath, she forces herself to continue,
making the past stay behind her as she lets it out.

Five pages later, she's just beginning,
talking about the excruciating pain in her chest,
being able to completely sympathize with everybody
who has ever had their heart torn apart by a loved one,
refusing to let this get the best of her.

Diary,
I don't understand, Where did everything go so wrong?
what happened to the treasured moments laying in the
beautiful poppy fields watching the clouds transform?
Passionately kissing under the pouring rain counting to seven every time another lightening bolt strikes;
Where did the future we planned go? I never knew pain
like this could be put upon someone so much.

Rage filling her body as she starts to write faster,
the bottle inside her has finally exploded, releasing every single thing she has held inside for so long,
In her diary, holding her deepest darkest secrets,
holding her heart ache, the game she feels like to him.

Letting it all out, forcing herself to never think of it again,
finally deciding for once, the past will stay behind her
as she closes the book for good.

-Not the best.-

Might not be your best but I have to admit that it caught my full attention, I liked how you addressed the dairy,

it's such a good thing to realize that your lifetime will have some bad moments, You'll learn to deal with them better as you grow up,
I truly find this poem impressive, 5/5
