Never Be An Us

Trying so hard to tell you something I know you never
once expected to hear come out of my mouth. How can I tell you that we can't ever try without breaking your heart?Stumbling on my words; No matter how hard I try, I can't bring myself to tell you the truth.

Tears fill my eyes as I try to type you a letter. Coming straight from the bottom of my heart. Lips start quivering as the words refuse to flow out my fingertips. Telling myself " Its okay, You need to get this out. He will understand." Looking down wiping away the falling tears, whispering to myself.. No he won't, He'll hate me.

How is it that I've wanted you for so long? How can it be that the moment you finally want to try I've found someone else? Hearing you want to be together, to make this work and not give up this time made me happier then you could ever know. Till the moment he walked into my life changing everything.

I'm sorry for what I am about to tell you. But four years to long. Why didn't you ever take advantage then? I would have dropped anybody in a moments instance for you. It breaks my heart having to know that the minute I tell you we can't try; It might shatter yours altogether.

How can I tell someone so important to me that there can never be an -us- ?
