Am I Good Enough?

There are nights that I wonder
if I'm actually good enough for
you or if I just hope that I am.

We used to talk for hours about
silly things that made me feel
so happy for a little while.

Now I'm lucky if we have the
chance to talk at all with a
mind full of ponder that question.

Am I actually good enough or do
I just believe that you think I am?
These questions leave me breathless.

You may be right in front of me,
but you seem to be in reach for
everyone, but me.

Am I good enough to be the one
you think about all the time or
am I just an adoring fan?

Those moments seemed so good
when I spent them right next to
you, but now I'm wondering if it's true.

The nights seem to go longer when
I'm thinking of you and pondering
if I'm actually good enough for you...
