How strong is the fear,
the fear of what we do not know.
Too scared to shine the light,
cuz all the badness will glow.

How we wish to run and hide,
never leaving things to chance.
Always in control,
knowing every step to this dance.

Wishing I could look ahead,
to what I have in store.
Avoid all the mistakes,
have all I want and more.

But I can't decide my future,
can't know all there is to know.
So I wait here patiently,
for the ending of my show.

    I loved this poem. How you described the fear of the unkown in the future and just hoping you do things right and have all u want and more. Very nice write. :-). I thought your thoughts were expressed very well and it conveyed emotion well.
