Take It Away

by CathyButterflyJC   Jan 30, 2012

(This is part goofy and part serious, I was bored)
(It's not a very good poem on my oponion because I know I can do better, but someone might enjoy the rhyming that is much involved.)

Just I thought I must pay
I long for the secret bay
To the Lord my life I lay
Take me away
To another day
Where I have more to say
In life I have to pay
I can smile at the bay
And I know my way
To were memories lay
Because I've fallen a sway
I feel like I've landed on a lonely cay
What did I do for this to pay
My past is the road to lay
Mystery surrounding every bay
A cast away
What more can I say
I hung on in my mind to were memories lay
Could this be my final day
Isn't there another chance to pay
I've crossed more than one destroying bay
I wish I knew my way
What is the price to pay
What is the law to lay
Where is life's hidden bay
This is a forgotten cay
I've forgotten my most treasure day
Take me back to the familiar cay
Of the world once were goodness lay
My friends were what I had to pay
Their friendship turned into cracked clay
Now my love has flown away
Now my greatest love has nothing to say
