The Final Chapter

by The Poet Behind The Poems   Feb 3, 2012

Feelings rush inside
As the purest water falls from my eyes
Inspiration blocking out the imperfections

Of the real world

Thousands of soldiers, contaminating the air that feeds me
That little boy whose life means nothing
To the one who smiled inscrutably

and...
pulled the trigger.

I sit - the tearing ripples
through my broken heart, like
the blood of the innocent covers

The concrete canvas

With my trembling hands , I escape reality
Disappear...
into the powerful written word , typing...

One last time

part 2 coming soon

O.M.G... I swear I am in love with each poem I read of yours! I don't think there is one I don't love... My favorites are going to be filled with yours so I can re-read them all the time!

Every line is brilliant, all I can say.
