Osmosis

Never thought of me as daddy back then.
And grand daddy must be a let's pretend.
Could never be a replacement for mother.
What we had common with one another.

Because she was there for you as for me.
You are now making me a retread dad, see.
You are more than daughter of the ghost.
And imagine your suffering was the most.

If I could bring her back it wouldn't work.
Her impression made us both this quirk.
You were just missing her like I have, too.
Our times fades but it isn't all through.

The shared memory of a past that we had.
But never think of it as something all bad.
Sometimes the ghost talks through me.
But that is because she wants us free.

She wants you to know she is so proud.
That she admired you for being so loud.
That she couldn't said it any better, too.
She sends her love for you being true.

You make her presence known so plain.
Doesn't want you to think you are vain.
She helped me to stand up for you, dear.
Sometimes her message to me is clear.

And she fades back into the void, again.
Happy for me and you to be as friend.
I think she knows you and me better.
And I can feel her love in this letter.

This shouldn't be in the Dark poems. It's beautiful in it's delivery, and emotion. Intense, and filled with realism..Excellent
