Flashbacks come to me every day
Memories haunt me every which way

I relive
Each dive

Passing corners the happy flashes reappears
Moments replaying to sad tears and a tear

The hurt brings me deep
Pain is my only keep

Despair comes running back at night
When friends have gone out of flight

I can rarely easily sleep
Alone is my freedom to weep

What happened to my light
It has once been so bright

Was I weak when for you I fought
