Chains from the past

by Jump from Life   Apr 25, 2012

Take that knife and lift it up.
Lift it up so you may fill the cup
that will hold your blood.
Insert it deep, make the blood flood
down your arms and body.
Tell everyone who's snobby
why you did this to yourself.
why you thought you couldn't get help.

The lies, cries, aches and pains.
All blew away, but you were shackled in chains.
Left there to die, and never come back.
Too many people gave you too much flack.
So now you're there on the floor,
watching with unseeing eyes at the door.

I can relate to this so well. Being lied to
the feeling nobody care, it can be very
overwhelming. All what we want is the pain to stop. Excellent piece
