Mother Willow

by Maple Tree   May 5, 2012

I cordially invite you
to join me at the roots,
of old mother willow's,
scared and hollow home.

Allow her whispers to
grant you entrance,
into her spirited kingdom
of tranquil inspiration.

Rest your weary fingertips
within the circles of each
year she has graced the
earth with her dangling
beauty, feel her heartbeat.

She is the soul stone of age,
turbulent limbs of veiled tears,
granting sorrow a chance to
escape within a stormy breeze,
leaving her presence with a
feeling of strength and hope.

I shall visit my earthly mother
forever and always, for she
is my spiritual grace, natures
lighthouse, just showing me
the way home....

^ sometimes, we just need that. To allow her whispers to give us inspiration and relaxation.

This poems calms me, it does have a sense of sadness but along the lines there is sense of hope.
