Dorothy Of Nod

Living among the undead
Conversations go unsaid.
Cain with his head down
Came to me with frown.

Like he lost only friend
Was how we did begin.
Let us begin brand new
Seemed like deal to do.

The first reincarnation
With no participation
Was new to son of Eve
As he came to believe.

He came so unknowing
Of a life of postponing.
Until we met fated day
As we both had to prey.

Hadn't earned my wings
And those mood swings
With many wild thoughts
My twister sister fought.

We were both assassins
Looking for compassion
But our marks were off
And friends would scoff.

The secret rendezvous
Of what we had to do.
We both many regrets
And one never forgets.

We relived pasts anew
As insanity we preview
With each time we stab
Those scars that scab.

Every time that we heal
Broken skin we do feel
So that we forgave us
And we think it a plus.

Perched on log, Alice
I try to forgive malice
But if only you knew
How I am to see you.

Whatever land muses
The choice of chooses.
I am not here to judge
But help you to budge.

Bless the rabbit's hide.
A purse made by pride.
Made so becoming you
And hidden past knew.

Think of me as a friend
As we begin once again
To not forget but learn
Which way we will turn.

The mistakes do define
As we are bottom line.
Saints the one way trip
Lest we try sanity slip.

The open door swings
Both ways with things.
This feather my legacy
Or this trip our destiny.
