First Love

by Mortal Utopia   May 23, 2012

Through this moment in time, we embrace,
Together, in this green altar of spring,
Lovers, in this heavenly instant (a droplet
In the river of Time - mother of all things
Mortal) - yet praying it will last - for ever and ever,

Together, we name this instant Eternity,
Although in truth, it lasts but moments,
I'll never let you go! ...in death, will it still be so?
Every bead of time - a world of its own,
Maybe there, we can love - for ever and ever...

Our love, but a droplet in this endless river,
Yet, in this bit of bliss, deceivingly insignificant,
We love, we live, we smile - for ever and ever.
