Just one last trip...

by Jump from Life   Jun 16, 2012

Everyone looks at me and sees
the girl that I used to be.
Nobody even notices the tears
that I've hidden from you all these years.

The river of red has grown,
as soon as you have stolen
the breath out of my lungs,
with the words that stung.

Nobody can see the hurt,
until that tiny little squirt
of glistening crimson drips
as my soul begins a trip.

A trip to see the world of hell
hearing that final bell
ring out into the night air.
This has gotten to be too much to bare.
