If I Were An Animal

by Paul Gondwe   Jun 17, 2012

I always wonder what
life would be like if
I were an animal

Would I be the Hyena?
A greedy and coward animal,
to never hunt on my own
but rely on others

Or would I be the Lion
Mighty and strong,
ruling the jungles
of the savannah

Maybe I might be a Chameleon,
singing songs of hope
as I slowly walk in the sun,
changing colors as i please

Only if I were an animal
would I rise above my fears,
flying high over the horizon
Only if I were an animal

    I like it,

as I was reading I instantly thought of people I know who fit your animals perfectly,

I think we all can relate to this. I get from this that people are more animal than they realise

Or would I be the Lion
    Mighty and strong,
    ruling the jungles
    of the savannah

    This is definately my mother!!

    regards

    Darren
