For the good times.

For the good times.

Life seems to come and go, like the tide with its ebb and flow.
Good times do come your way, why do they never seem to stay?
When they do come, you sigh and say, I wish this day would never end, bliss, be my friend.
Like the grass that withers and dies, your soul does melt, gone are your dreams and the joy you felt.
Where are you my butterfly who fluttered above, drinking the nectar from my flower of love?
The rose droops after the storm, but blooms anew when new love is born.
This has been part of my life, an emotional roller coaster, filled with strife.
God gave me a new heart, the stony one He did set apart.
Now a prisoner of a greater love am I, a Son of the one who lives on high.
Good news for you today, you can have a love that
never goes away!
He will embrace you, and in His arms you will stay.
You will be covered with His brightness, you will be
beautiful in His sight, purchased by Jesus, the Son of Light.
Never more to roam, with God you have an everlasting home.
The Church, the Bride of Christ with all its glory,
as told in the Bible, it's a true story.

For the Father himself loves you dearly because you love me and believe that I came from God. John 16:27 NLT.
