August (Collab)

by Maple Tree & Naughtymouse   Jul 19, 2012

I once knew darkness,
when I met you under the moon-
the night our reincarnated souls
departed from our earthly fingertips.

As two spirits, we wandered the plains together,
searching,
searching for our twilight cove,
Only to find the shards of unhappiness, layed strewn across those lonely sands.

You were the first of many,
as I ponder within,
It amazes me that I
still breath,
for I feel you,
but I don't know
your name anymore.

As the waves crash against the remnace of our kinship,
listen,
listen intently to the whispers of the eve, for the sea tries to remind me of that which i lost,
somwhere between knowing and forgetting you.
