When we long to be with someone, it's one of the worst feelings ever. I really like how you used the pen - fantastic!

I thought the last line sounded a bit strange then I realized it was a senryu.

Yeah, we might wish to spend more time with someone and that someone spends more time with something else.. I like how you want to be that pen, it's like you want that someone to think of you as the pen so may be that someone would spend the same time but this time with you.
