Less Fortunate

Of struggle
I know nothing of
For this I am blessed
But I still feel their pain

To be privileged
and to care for less fortunate
may seem contradicting
I just consider it humane

So I want to speak
for the ones with no voice
The ones slaving away
for low wages without a choice

Cause to uplift the underclass
is to uplift society
To aid one family
is to aid the whole community

Cause human, we all are
so why not treat all the same?
And make the struggles of the past
not to be in vain

    We are all people and we should be treated
    equally. Nobody is better or less.
    People have a tendency taking things for
    granted.

    This is an excellent poem with a great message. You speak nothing but words of truth. We do take for granteed the things we have and how easy we can do things and even buy things. It is a fact that everyone is treated different for a variety of reasons but I agree with you in the way that we are all the same and should be treated the same. It is unfair that less fortunate people work harder ro produce goods but are paid less where as people here can be paid a fortune but do very little work.
