The Little Joker

by La Reina De Corazones   Sep 21, 2012

Tears falling from her face,
Thy poor broken doll,
How can neither heaven nor hell demand to have you?

Walking in the dark not caring who sees,
Just wishing to be someone who believes,
Hearing everything pass along and still she dreams,

Breathing in the light,
Walking in the shadows in relief,
Looking back she can still hear the painful screams,

Smiling although inside she frowns,
To the world she's not someone yet broken down,
With the lies she's made she keeps walking with that beautiful crown,
Down that way into town

Powerful imagery you painted. We all at some point feel disheartened with ourselves and actions. We feel diffident to step forward and portray our capabiliies. However, with all the inferiority complex, there's an of amount force driving you to achieve your aims. To set forth and polish yourself, hence, be a better person.

Optimism is to be imbued into us intellectualy. We have to claim it and conform to its attributes. Sidelining any form of negativity is a step ahead. Life is never a smooth sail, we have to push harder at times to be us. A distinctive way of portraying your message.

    Written superbly! :-) ..

Nice poem! You have portrayed a great image with your words. I could see her clearly walking thru' the night with her thoughts. A very illustrative piece!
