Haven 2

by lillie   Oct 3, 2012

Theres a place I seem to go often late at night
Its a place I can be myself, a private place I can sit down and write.

Joined by a group of strangers who seem so close but so far. If they were near me, i wouldn't mind calling them up late for a drink at the bar.

Never knowing where each lives on their own.
Somehow we are a family, and the Haven is our home.

We live separate lives, spread across the world
within miles upon miles.
These people I've never met know how to give me
smiles.

Like a family we talk, we love, we grow.
The doors to the Haven family are covered with a glow.

A glow of talent, a glow of love and life.

One day, someday far into the future, the
Haven family will in the future meet.
They will have tons to say, starting with a first simple greet.
