November II (Look it up people it's a holiday)

by La Reina De Corazones   Oct 31, 2012

In the ground below, a coffin lays closed,
And a girl lays in blissful sleep,
Soon she will awaken and join in the fun as her day is soon to come,

Walking back to her used to be home,
Her father and mother welcome her back with love and grace,
Giving her the foods that she loved once,

Everything felt differnet,
They could never hold her again,
Yet her essance stays with them still,
This was her day,

Her day to be around the ones that loved her,
Forever enternal,
Wondering around yet going back to her used to be beginning,

A ghost forevermore,
But a pleasant memory to the ones that hold her still,
Still in their hearts,
And in their minds,
This will always be her day,
For it's the day of the dead!

This is a sadly beautifully written funeral piece. Its a sad scenario to gather at a burial for the final goodbye to a loved one. They may be gone in life and body but in spirits they leave with us. We can speak to them and they listen to us. We can ask them for a favour and they'll surely acknowledge us. We just need keep a relentless faith and pray for the repose of their soul. That will assure them we've accepted our fate and are glad they're in a better and a divine shade of The Almighty.

Its never easy to say goodbye and move on with only memories of our dead ones. However, those memories will stay with us forever. It'll be a pacifier to us. We should always keep moments shared with our deceased ones, close to our hearts. With perseverance and a strong will. Life goes on for good and everything will be worthwhile. Death is a life circle that can't be avoided. Its among one of 'The purpose of life'.

A lovely piece, gloomy but exquisitely conveyed. Keep writing.. . Welldone!
