A Real Syrian Love in the War, Taken from Reality

by Khalid M Darwish   Dec 27, 2012

Darling!!

I don't want you to be like electricity,
once cut you never know when it'll come back.

I want you take care of me,
like a sniper, with your 10/10 eyes directed towards me.

Make me feel that when you miss me,
it's like the war gas that makes eyes brim with tears.

Make me feel that you become happy when I come back,
like when you become happy when you have the internet coming back.

Make me feel I'm like a bread bundle,
for which you're waiting for hours to get.

Hide me away from people eyes,
like when you save your laptop before it's out of charge.

Finally, I want you be afraid and worry about me,
like when you are afraid of our gas cylinder to be out of gas.

I can't critique this write, this is humorous but it has depth. it's shows how us at times don't show much interest at humans than how we show it to technology. Which is the sad part. Really, the content is very very well done.
