How To Lose

Why haven't you told me
the real reason you had
to turn your back and
walk away? Why did you
choose the easy way
again; to leave in silence.

We went through a lot, and
you managed to change me
in so many ways, but then it
was too late to show you the
difference you made in my life.

You left me feeling broken,
paralyzed by your departure.
And I blamed myself for not
loving you enough; for not
being strong enough to hold
on to you.

easier if you were the one
who walked away first,
you kept believing that
one day I would just go,
but you decided to lose me..

But you know, I should have
never let you -let me go.
