I was murdered

by The Poet Behind The Poems   Jan 24, 2013

Autumn leafs danced between
clashes of winds, while my soul
was on the edge of a cliff of
emotions.

Knowing that one day soon
his face would be only past
memories was like a knife cutting
deep into my skin-

Losing you was the force that
penetrated my heart, on that
day I was gone, murdered
inside.

As a body I look and sound
The same, but the man you
once knew and loved ,
is not
me.

I'm at a loss for words. The emotion in this was so loud in so few words. I felt like I was standing outside, cold, and the poem was a plot taking place.

    Fantastic imagery.
