Picture This

by Someone Invisible   May 8, 2013

Lavishly flourished hills rolling softly
a cool night's early spring breeze
flowers and ferns swaying together
dancing to a waltz if you please.
Marigolds and sunflowers
mingle in the orchards.
Roses thorns grazing with
touches meant to scorch her.
But as tonight's song comes to end now
Their slow dancing comes to a close,
the soft moon falls and sun rises
to nourish as the next generation grows.
