Living God

by Eminent Bard   Aug 30, 2013

Every morning when I rise
I feel His grace and mercy pouring down
And when I put my hands together
I know He listens to every word I say

And so I give Him all praises and worship
For only He is worthy

My God is a living God
And He is now living in me
My God is a living God
Every heartbeat He changes me

Some would kneel before a tree
But it can never see their hearts' intent
Some would put their faith on stones
But these can never hear the prayers they say

But I would boldly come to a God I cannot see
For He truly saves and He is mighty

He is a living God
Yet He once died to set me free
And to fulfill what He desires
That unto Him we would be reconciled for eternity

I was lost but now am found
By the Savior who purchased me by His blood
Trust in Him for He's the only way
Towards salvation, there is no other way
