Frozen In Mime

by RainbowSlider   Nov 6, 2013

You took you away from me.
And made freedom mockery.
Introduced me to the the we.
Then left me with the empty.

Like I was never to be born.
My heart and soul now torn.
Flesh, blood and spirit worn.
My grief of us as rose thorn.

The petals have fallen away.
Darkness reaps all the sway.
Memories as shadows stay.
The ghost of our love play.

The nightmares come back.
Amazed the jade loses tack.
Friendship appears as slack.
And love as the colour black.

Yet, I have not lost but gain.
This nothingness to remain.
Our song has a lost refrain.
We are of the missing train.
