A Soldier's Love For His Country

by LittleMsPink   Mar 20, 2014

Ye Philippines, I render you my all
Every part of me, my heart and my soul

For thy land gave me bliss
and completed my being,
I shall strive to protect thee

I wont let anything or anyone to devour
I shall endeavor myself to shield your glamour

For i love nothing more than thee
And your destruction will make me feel
great melancholy

There's a great soldier's love in this write for his nation. Yes, they give their all to protect their people; they fight with all their might sans worrying for their own life. Even at night they keep aiming towards the enemy so that we can sleep well.

That's why I say soldiers have a very big and strong heart. We should respect them.

But still many people don't recognise their great love and their struggle for us. But I am bliss that you have done this great job.

So a very impressive job done by you. God bless you.

In my view, this poem should contain some more thoughts and feelings. I mean to say some more writing.
Please check you spellings before you upload your poems.

Great Poem. I am giving full marks for this.

This poem is amazing, I love the absense of patriotic cliches. :) 5/5
