I used to meet her every day
She shouldn't have remained
Her heart was never open because it still bled from her pain.
Her mind goes into overdrive
Day and night
Thoughts race and collide
Neurological massacre
Effectively controlled her sense of self-worth
To react in the moment
Losing control over emotions
Positively hopeless
She continues, still believing...
She may bend the path to her fate but the end remains the same.
This person she's becoming
Is nothing close to where she's always aimed.
Could it almost be that point in life...
Time to pay the piper,
Or her time to change the game
