Terror Core

by Jack Nightengale   Aug 9, 2014

I've found a new genre,
Something that suits my insanity,
A genre that's darker than black,
A vicious substitute that cuts no slack.

Traumatic experiences and gruesome imagery,
Painting gruesome bloody sceneries,
Bodies ripped open and souls shattered,
Hearts are torn and minds are bruised and battered.

This is the only genre for me,
I don't need light or anything to see.
This genre is a massacre, a dream full of gore,
My genre is simply Terror Core.

Terror Core... I like it. Granted I know nothing about dark poetry due to it not being my best genre, but I do like reading yours and getting the scenes ypu describe in my head. Great job, cant wait to see how these next poems turn put.
