Affair

Warning: This is a terror core poem. The contents of this poem are not meant for the weak of heart or mind.

Every night she sneaks out to meet her secret lover,
Longing for this strangers arms to hold her,
Leaving her husband in the back of her mind a blur.

He's awakes one night as she goes out,
He tails her cautiously wondering what all this is about,
As she kisses this other man he wants to scream and shout.
He hides his presence and follows them to their room,
He can hear them making sounds and his mind goes boom.

He plans his next moves and kicks in the door,
Shot the man in the leg and tied up his wife and tossed her to the floor.
He covered their mouths with duct tape, no screaming,
Put the man in a chair at the edge of the balcony leaning.
He penetrated his wife then slit her throat,
Before he dropped the man he asked how the sex was with his goat.

Imagery is so important when it comes to dark poetry, I've figured it out finally. But with you raising the bar and taking it another step darker? Truly amazing.

I caught myself reading aloud again ( I got a few weird looks ) and it just sounds so much more... Realistic. I love it.

Now... The last line though... Was it really a goat???? O.o

Hahaha no it wasn't a goat but because the guy basically made her lover watch him penetrate her and kill her like a pig, it was his way of comparing her to a dirty animal.
