The Crystal

by Maple Tree   Sep 26, 2014

All I know, believe,
is created in the world
that was designed for me.

I found it difficult being molded,
shaped into something that
didn't feel comfortable.

I'm so far away from
being saved.

Lost? What is lost?

I'm on the path
made for me-

I've lived scented
lavender mixed with
haunted tears.

Skirted past doors
where the most vile claimed
love, being lost in the eyes
of a woman who knew
their fate.

Sipping tea at three am
brought a deep sense of
understanding as candles
burned slowly....

Gypsies follow a
trail lined in crystal ball
visions and dancing.

The past was a lesson,
present is peace-
I am the future....

Very stunning, ethereal. I love the mystical atmosphere you've createdas though you were writing about a memory that could have been real yet could have been a dream, lovely and flowing, as soft and smooth as satin :-)
