Oceans of Time

by Blake A Eveleigh   Nov 26, 2014

This storm in the minds eye,
Brings back memories of a foggy past,
And visions of a hopeless future,

Drowning in a sea of rage,
Nothing more can be done,
The this empty past is forgotten,

What has come to pass is,
Nothing more than memories,
That corrodes the mind, through,

What is yet to come is,
Predictable not,
By a thousand wise men,

A freefall from heaven to Earth,
The only decision you have,
Is what direction you face,

Time,
More valued than gold, overruns life's splendors
Like and eternal creeping would,

More powerful than guns, knives or bombs,
It takes hope,
And prosperity hostage,

Leaving only a trail of broken dreams,
Destined to be,
Abandoned and forgotten... It is lost
