A White Hat (The Dream club challenge # 2)

I like this a lot. It reads quickly and surreally - like a hectic........well, dream!

I love analyzing dreams or at least reflecting/discussing what they could mean though I don't place any bets on it! Only thing is, I rarely remember them hours after I wake up unless I write them down... should keep a journal under my pillow.

Such a neat challenge. It makes me think about this man, his story, how you may have just been two strangers at some point but your lives crossed for a reason. The opening lines makes me wonder if he chose to leave or if circumstance influenced him to and that silence represents what he can't change.

The interesting thing here, to me, is how he has your number. Whether he found it or you gave it to him, and how you simply exhale and don't say anything at the end. The significance of the white hat is so intriguing as well. Did you leave it on a park bench? Did you have a dream of owning a white hat? Is he returning the white hat to you, is that how he remembered you, kept you close in his memory?

Gosh...what a dream...was it not scary to have a dream in which you see someone who is no more ...or um...did he just go to some other part of the earth????
I mean seriously you people have a challenge of writing poems on dreams??? Gosh....haha...if I was taking part...it would be all nightmares only...and some funny and ridiculous nightmares...:p

hmmm....but then it just have felt so good in your dream to see him and I bet when you woke up you firstwished why did the dream not get over...and then...that was so absurd :p haha ...i say all this because I would be like that...and you know right about us..the same side of a coin probably :p
