To Be Happy

by cassie hughes   Aug 7, 2015

Try singing on a rainy day,
or watching little children play.
Some find their peace in painting scenes,
whilst others linger deep in dreams.
A moment spent in natures care,
can oft dispel a grouchy air.
Or linger by a dulcet pool,
despondency to overrule.

This is so sweet, it is so true that we often wait for happiness to magically appear and find us, where we should be finding it for ourselves. You have listed some small ways that people often find this for themselves, as it is different for everyone, but you have worded this poem so well, and especially for being in limited words!

    Well done.
