The Great Pretender

by Mark Rawlins   Feb 25, 2016

Inspired by a picture of an Elvis impersonator at a Donald Trump rally: .....

No, I won't be your Teddy Bear,
and I won't love you tender.
So you can stay right over there
'cause we'll return to sender.

You aint nothin' but a fascist,
I've seen you on the news.
and when your wall of hatred crashes,
keep off my blue suede shoes.

Is it my suspicious mind,
or just my wooden heart,
that over here we hate your kind
and call a Trump a Fart?
