Grym gym

What a funny place to be
I'm afraid its really is not for me.

Competition is intense
along with all the pretence.

Scent of ego in the air
red flushed faces... unwelcome glare!

So, so profound
just to push another pound.

Sweat admitted
teeth firmly gritted
protruding chests
in skin tight vests.

In front of a mirror
they look to see
and quietly say 'look everyone, look at me'
