The House

by Mark Rawlins   May 12, 2016

I'm a bit fed up tomorrow.
I'm a bit fed up today.
My head is full of sorrow.
Please make it go away!

Where have you put your lovely smile?
I haven't got a clue.
But strategies are in my file
to tell you what to do.
You gone and did it purpose wrong,
when Tuesday 4 is finished,
but Wednesday 5 will come along
with all its hope diminished.

I'm a bit fed up tomorrow.
I'm a bit fed up today.
My head is full of sorrow.
Please make it go away!

I've had a really good idea ....
I just want to go home.
I bite my frustration with fear
so I'll be left alone.
I'm bursting for the toilet.
I want a cup of tea.
Want catalogue to spoil it.
I just want to be me.

I'm a bit fed up tomorrow.
I'm a bit fed up today.
My head is full of sorrow.
Please make it go away!

I'll put you in the dustbin.
I'll wobble into town
for a burger with a flake in,
to stop me falling down.
There's Elvis, Queen and Johnny Cash
all blasting in my room.
I shield my eyes from lightning flash ...
and my impending doom.

I'm a bit fed up tomorrow.
I'm a bit fed up today.
My head is full of sorrow.
Please make it go away!
