Sisters Of The Sky (Rictameter)

She is
a lustrous flame
upon the evening sky
mortals go weak seeing this dame.
To touch to hold her, passionate hearts try
but her sultry kiss smolders men
and they all turn to dust,
a red hot love
She is.

Night Queen
maiden of lust,
charms the mood of mortals
with her ardent smile so serene.
She lures all even those who are brutal,
sowing a desire very strong
that none can free from this
dark beauty, the
Night Queen.

Sisters
of the blue sky
hold this earth in their palms
reigning day and night from up high.
Those who seek to caress these maidens, fall
with a crushing heart as they die
tasting the cruel love
of these stunning
Sisters.

    Meena created a beautiful string of Rictameter's this week! I was blown away to be honest.

    I knew that this nature poem was going to be magical by the title alone and as I started reading, I was overjoyed.

    It has a Goddess purity to it, and just elegant. Full of mystical words and elegance.

    I was calling out to women like this in my dreams the other night and got rudely awoken by my wife punching me rather hard in the arm.....:)

    Wonderful piece, and wonderful imagery throughout.
