Halloween treats

by Meena Krish   Oct 14, 2025

Little scary tricks
wait upon closed doors
hungry for treats
with their small claws,

Running down the street
with triangle eyed lanterns
capes and pointy teeth
howl of tantrums,

As the night stays up
with mouth full of yummies
a carpet of colorful wraps
paints concern for mummies,

Too many sweets
calls for dental day
as tireless wrist
scrapes the night's play!

I love Halloween and so I could see this poem in action, a few years ago now it would have been me. Well done Meena

That's cute. I can see that being on a child's trick or treat card with candy. Or a Halloween special.
