Intersections

by Saakiel   Jan 30, 2017

Crossing intersections
on bricks in patterns and
bleachers in intervals
of void spaces, I sat,
plugged, and started
whispering words
only I can envisage.

Crossing intersections
of cynical perspectives
of people who’ve been
turning heads from
battles they could have won,
only to realize I, too, am
avoiding it at all cost.

Crossing intersections
on uncertain alley
of mist and mud,
only to find out
that I am on a curve
where my trails are
sculpted for years.

I love when a piece is so vague but is totally understood! Another great piece here.

This is fantastic. We all have our paths to walk along, I think the key is do the best we can without judging anyone else unless we have the guts to walk even a second in their shoes.

      Hi Phil,
Thanks for leaving your perspective about this piece. It means a lot. Yes definitely we have out own paths to travel. However as it may seem about pursuing our own journey, this piece isn't about it. But still I appreciate you making sense out of my work. Kudos.

A warm welcome to the site.

If you keep writing such marvellously vague and descriptive poetry like this, you will soon establish yourself one of the site's best. A very good write.

    All the best,

    Ben
