Woman in the Mirror

by Maple Tree   Mar 20, 2017

I never trusted anyone
not even myself; but .....

There is a place where the sun
kisses dewey tears and a womens
cheeks can strengthen her shine
with a thousand smiles.

I've grown to love my inner soul
enough to love another...

Trusting more than the woman
In the mirror ever dreamed of...

There is a space of silence between these two lines: "Trusting more than the woman" and "In the mirror ever dreamed of..." that is so profound.

This is something every woman has to read. There are times
where we walk away from ourselves not wanting to see what the
mirror sees; but when the day comes where we can stand there and
except us from inside out then that itself is life's best gift!

Loved this simple and meaningful read!
