Ho Ho Ho

by Mark Rawlins   Dec 14, 2017

It’s Christmas Jumper Day today,
down at the Department of Dross.
There’s mistletoe on Santa’s sleigh
and a chance to snog the boss.
There’s tinsel round computer screens
and filing cabinet drawer.
There’s cards exchanged with festive scenes
so that work won’t seem a chore.
On Jumper Day, forget the rules,
’cause the office will get colder.
For lunch we’ll munch on stuffing balls
to the sound of Noddy Holder.
It’s the highlight of our work year,
so pray that they don’t sack us.
Don’t have to be mad to work here,
but we must be Christmas crackers.
