Day dreaming

soft curls ebb and flow; gently
kissing the soles of my feet;
as I lay upon a fine
bed of
shale

glitter-
pours from a
yellow ochre well, that-
tilts, within a prodigious blue ruffle; above..

.. a sprinkle of warmth settles upon my skin.

The breeze gently blows-
day dreams into my thoughts,
then turns, and changes direction;
carrying my mindfulness,
further out
to sea...

Mermaids-
appear, and tug gently at
my imagination..

..I am taken unto..

..an aquatic ether;
a pearlescent secrecy;
where my eyes
bathe in
turquoise.

A,
melody;
so enchanting comes
whispering; seducing my ears
with a haunting voice; with that of a soprano; that nuzzles, a serenade; deep in..

..my heart.

I slowly float back upon a wave
of truffles; with my crystal
clear image-
cherished,
back to
where I
lay.

The wind turns and
bows, and changes
its direction
once a-
gain...
